75 Activities to Improve Your Relationship

​Do you feel that your relationship needs some TLC?  Do you want to get to know your partner better?  Do you feel that your relationship is moving too fast?  Here are some tips to enhance your connection with your partner. 
 
  1. Tell your partner that you love them (it means more than you might think!).
  2. Give them a hug.
  3. Make your partner feel important and respected.
  4. Kiss.
  5. Have fun together.
  6. Tell your partner that you care.
  7. Hold hands.
  8. Go for a long bike ride.
  9. Give your partner a gift.
  10. Be there when your partner needs you.
  11. Respond when tell you things (something like “I hear you,” “fair enough,” or “that sounds ____” goes a long way!
  12. Go to a movie.
  13. Walk arm in arm in the woods.
  14. Make a playlist of love songs.
  15. Talk openly about your feelings.
  16. Share dreams together.
  17. Snuggle.
  18. Discuss your shared future.
  19. Take a walk together.
  20. Go out to eat.
  21. Have a picnic.
  22. Play.
  23. Give genuine compliments (the more specific, the better!).
  24. Go swimming.
  25. Sit closely together
  26. Go grocery shopping.
  27. Cook a meal together.
  28. Touch.
  29. Bake cookies.
  30. Just be there.
  31. Find out what is special for your partner and do it.
  32. Exercise together.
  33. Gaze at each other.
  34. Go fishing.
  35. Talk to each other.
  36. Listen to hurts.
  37. Complete a project together.
  38. Choose a favorite song together.
  39. Listen to each other’s joys.
  40. Use eye contact to share.
  41. Write each other letters.
  42. Talk on the phone (no texting).
  43. Show your trust for one another.
  44. Meet each other’s families.
  45. Go for a hike together.
  46. Make sacrifices for each other.
  47. Be co-conspirators (planning together).
  48. Show respect for each other.
  49. Go for a moonlit walk.
  50. Hide notes for your partner to find.

  55. Give each other nicknames.
  56. Go sightseeing.
  57. Do things for each other without being asked.
  58. Whisper something nice into each other’s ear.

  63. Laugh.
  64. Impress each other.
  65. Be loyal.
  66. Make a list of things that you like about your partner.
  67. Meet each other’s friends.
  68. Cook each other’s favorite foods.
  69. Watch the sunset.
  70. Watch the sunrise.
  71. Share lifetime goals with each other.
  72. Think about each other.
  73. Find out what makes your partner sad. 
  74. Share an ice cream cone.
  75. Have your picture taken together.
