Ellen has received an Honours Bachelor’s of Arts Degree in Psychology through Lakehead University and her Master’s of Arts Degree in Counseling Psychology through Yorkville University. Ellen began her career working at the Children’s Centre Thunder Bay supporting both children and adults with various mental health needs including depression, anxiety, trauma, and ADHD. Ellen uses an attachment focused perspective and trauma-informed approach with her clients and works with several therapeutic modalities including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Strengths-based therapy, Client-Centered Therapy, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). Ellen is passionate about connecting with others and believes healing occurs through our relationships with ourselves and others.
